Here is our story (the condensed version)...

Joy & I were college sweethearts.  In 1989, Joy and I moved to North Augusta, SC after I graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in chemical engineering.  I had accepted a position as a process engineer at Savannah River Site (SRS) in Aiken, SC.  

In 1993, we bought a house in the Saddlewood Subdivision in North Augusta.  We moved into our new home a few months before Lindsay, our oldest daughter, was born. 

In 1995, sweet little Brittany was born.  That same year, I left SRS for a Senior Production Engineer position at DSM Chemicals in Augusta, GA. 

In 1995, I began designing departmental websites on the DSM Intranet.  I realized then that I had knack for this type of work and computers in general.  I also began designing websites and repairing computers in my spare time.  In 1997, I decided to turn my hobby into a part-time business.  That's when PC Graphix was created.

From 1997 to 2000, I continued working full-time at DSM while growing PC Graphix as a part-time business.  On January 15, 2001, I left DSM to operate PC Graphix as a full-time business.
